Well the content on my blog has been slowing down a lot but well has definitely improved from the last year. I have been trying out these dishes, that mostly involved stuffing ingredients into a core ingredient. This is one such dish and believe me its gonna blow your mind if you decide to give it a go in your kitchen. This is a dish I happen to have at a restaurant near by. It was such a delight that I always wanted to give it a go.
- Green Chilies
- Chickpea flour
- Red Chili powder (1tsp)
- Olive oil
- Mix the chickpea flour, red chili powder, salt and pepper. Add some water to the mixture. Whisk the mixture and keep adding water till it gains a runny consistency.
- Put the prawns on medium low heat. Add salt and pepper to the prawns. Keep the prawns in till the juices dry out.
- Make a slit along the length of the chili preferably end to end. Do not cut off the top of the chili. It would be best left alone. Stuff the chilies with the cooked prawns and put it into the chickpea mixture. Roll the chili in the batter and make sure you dont miss no spot.
- Now put the chili into deep fryer or else on to a pan. If you’re using a pan make sure to put the slit portion face down, so that the stuffing doesn’t come out.
PS. You could always replace the prawns with other proteins, chicken could be a good replacement or even squid. Do try this one recipe and let me know how it turns out for you.
P.S.S. I know I have to start working on my presentation as well. Open to suggestions.
